“Ribbon of hope” campaign in Spain and Italy

Growing involvement of hairdressers in the fundraising campaign.

1st December 2008, Hairdressers Against AIDS was buoyed by the enthusiasm and energy of the hairdressers who came out in force to support the campaign.

Those visiting hair salons were offered a “ribbon” resembling red hair, symbolising the campaign to fight the disease.

The campaign was also designed to raise funds for the Flying Doctors Service in support of its programme to help stop the spread of the disease in Africa.
