Nicolas Hieronimus

General Manager of the L'Oréal Professional Products Division
What does the commitment of the Professional Products Division in the fight against AIDS mean for you?
"This preventive education programme created by L’Oréal, in partnership with UNESCO, means a great deal to me. This is why I am especially proud to see how the commitment of hairdressers all over the world has grown since 2005. Today, there are more than 1.2 million hairdressers who communicate in their salons the information that will help to curb this pandemic to customers."

The information and education relayed by hairdressers seems to be considerable. What do you expect from them?
"Communicating, educating and talking is fundamental. Our L’Oréal educators train hairdressers who in turn become channels of education for preventing this disease, with their male and female clients. And so I really thank them: a big thank-you to all Hairdressers against AIDS who have joined forces with us to fight this disease. We are going to set up an internet site dedicated to this programme where they can share their experience of this combat – because what they say matters!"
