The Opération Sourire goes global !

Initially created under the auspices of Médecins du Monde France by Dr. Françoios Foussadier in 1989, the Opération Sourire has been exported to Japan and Germany.

L’Oréal now supports Médecins du Monde to deploy the Opération Sourire program across the world. Since 2010, L’Oréal funds several missions of reconstructive surgery led by Médecins du Monde subsidiaries in Germany and Japan.

This additional funding will able Dr Satoshi Yoza and his japanese medical team to perform a mission in Dakka, Bangladesh, while Médecins du Monde Germany teams will back up the action already led in Cambodia by operating in the Kampong Cham province.
